Practice Greenhealth Names Laura Wenger, RN, as Executive Director

RESTON, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/08/12 -- Practice Greenhealth is pleased to announce that it has named Laura Wenger, R.N., as its executive director. Wenger has served as interim executive director since October 2011, and replaces Anna Gilmore Hall, RN, CAE, who stepped down in September.

Formerly Director of Education, Training Events for Practice Greenhealth, Wenger brings more than 17 years of experience in nursing, consulting and health care professional education development. In her role as interim executive director, Wenger effectively addressed the needs of Practice Greenhealth members and staff by fostering working partnerships among board, staff and the health care community.

Results-oriented and visionary, she has brought the organizations education programs to a new level. Previously, Wenger served as the Director of Clinical Integration for Consorta, where she assisted the membership with product evaluations, clinical education and management of the Consorta environmentally preferable purchasing program (EPP). Prior to her work at Consorta, Wenger held several nursing positions at Parkview Health System, including Director of the CICU/MICU/eICU.
