MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 08/05/10 -- Nordex Explosives Ltd. ("Nordex" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: NXX) announces that Mr. John Kozak has stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer of Nordex. The Board of Directors has appointed Mr. James OReilly as President and Chief Executive Officer.

The Board also wishes to announce that Mr. Jacque Levesque has been appointed executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Tom Gannon will remain as Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Jim Taylor will continue as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company.
